Regional Director - North (Rj/Mg/Es)Leroy Merlin Jan 2018 - Sep 2020São Paulo Area, BrazilAfter a successful management of the Regional South, I was tasked with leading the Regional North, which comprises the states of RJ, MG and ES, more than 1,700 employees and sales of over R $ 1.2 billion in 2019 (9 stores, 1 Regional CD and online sales). I reported to the CEO. I prepared and implemented the Regional strategic plans. I prepared and monitored the development of the P&L and the investment plan. I prepared and presented the results of the Regional at the quarterly meetings of the Advisory Council. I conducted national cross-cutting projects, as leader of the National Advertising Council and the Sustainability Committee; a global transversal, for the development of the new leadership of Grupo Adeo (holding company); and product categories.I achieved successive sales and EBITDA progressions: in 2019, while regional sales increased 1.6% YoY to R $ 1.24 billion (same store sales), EBITDA grew 6.1% to R $ 98m (margins and control of expenses). EBITDA for the regional office increased 55% in May / 2020 YoY to R $ 8.4m, canceling the negative effect of March + April of stores closed due to the pandemic. In June / 2020, sales increased 41% YoY to R $ 136m, while EBITDA grew 78%, to R $ 12.7m, the largest increase in LMB. In July / 2020, sales hit a new monthly record, + 42% YoY to R $ 152m, while EBITDA grew 68% to R $ 15.2m, the biggest progression of the LMB. The regional sales progression forecast for 2020 is 5% to R $ 1.3 billion, and EBITDA 10% to R $ 108m.I led a successful digital transformation of 100% of Regional operations, with significant positive impacts on stakeholders. Online sales (ship from store + click & collect) practically quintupled in June / 2020 (R $ 6.75m) compared to June / 2019 (R $ 1.21m), from 1.3% to 5% of sales in 1 year (superior to the competition), anticipating the company's goal by 2 years. I implemented the company's first operation in the new omnichannel concept (Vitória, ES, opened in Dec / 2019). -
