As an Instructional Designer at StrongMind we're at the forefront of online education. My role involves collaborating with curriculum managers and subject-matter experts to set learning objectives and crafting curriculum materials for online and blended instruction. I provide essential guidance to subject-matter experts, ensuring that course design aligns seamlessly with multimedia elements. Working closely with programming teams, I help create interactive activities that enhance the learning experience. I also collaborate with UX and Product Management teams, designing prototypes for usability studies. Supporting course developers is another crucial aspect of my role, where I offer instructional design guidance.

-In charge of operations for an online high school learning center with 2 – 4 employees and 100+ underprivileged youth-Primary point of contact between parents, staff, students-Provide in person and over the phone computer tech support to students and staff-In charge of enrollment process of all students including collecting and filing paperwork-Mathematical tutor for students in classroom as well as setting up post-graduation plans

-Implemented and maintained 450 student laptops and 25 staff computers-Responsible for the installation of new educational media such as projectors, local network servers, computer programs, and computer hardware-Managed the wired and wireless networks of the facility-Trained staff in program usage, computer troubleshooting, and effective uses of technology

-Provided students with AIMS test prep tutoring services in mathematics-Meticulous tracking of student progress, hours worked, and student’s strengths and weaknesses-Met with principals and teachers to ensure student goals were met-Serviced a variety of schools around the Phoenix area
