As Plant Logistics Department Manager the following are my duties and responsibilities:• Ensure and monitor availability of all raw materials, e.g. CRC (cold-rolled coils), metals (ingots) and all other strategic materials (nitrogen, hydrogen, LPG, branding ink, special fuel oils, etc.) including WIP, to meet the monthly production/sales targets. • Responsible in the preparations of all regular monitoring reports including MRP and Production Plan of the Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) and Traffic and Dispatch sections, including review and approval of all Daily/Weekly Production Schedules and Daily Load/Route Planning.• Monitor, ensure and establish monthly inventory levels of finished goods floor stocks (buffer and work in process (WIP) stocks to service all customers orders.• Promote coordination, internally with PPIC and Traffic and Dispatch Sections, and externally with Shipping Coordinator under Sales Admin Manager and with Strategic Purchasing Manager (Head Office-Makati).• Participate in the weekly Interco meetings (Philsteel Holdings) to be able to consolidate and strategize critical and key raw materials total volumes needed by all companies and negotiate better pricing.• Review, check and approve Plant Logistics Department reports including Purchase Requisitions and billings by truckers.• Identify key result areas (KRA) and define key performance indicators (KPI) of all PLD staffs on a regular basis.• Review and revise as needed on a regular basis all company policies and procedures in the performance of all duties and responsibilities of PLD. • Initiate continuous improvement projects and coach staffs to improve and optimize process efficiencies, delivery service levels, leadtimes and costs control.• Coordinate with HRAD on relevant matters pertaining to staffs continuous professional development thru trainings and seminars (internal and external).

Procurement for all finished goods stocks (both local and imported) for warehouse and distribution at Sara Lee Central warehouse managed by GAC (aThird Party Logistics Service Provider). Monitor and evaluate the service level of GAC, deliveries, invoicing, proof of deliveries (POD) invoices returned to Sara Lee for collection. also monitor all distribution related costs including value-added services like product and case barcode stickering, promo-bundling, etc. Also in-charge of managing all returns from trade, sorting, disposal, documentations and application with BIR for all said disposal. Also monitor and manage Malfer (a third party contractor) for sorting, destruction and disposal of all said returns from trade.
