Chevron Wheatstone Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant is the 4th largest construction project globally, incorporating multi-layered contractor structure and scope in both marine and terrestrial environments. A key member of project leadership team, charged with environmental strategy development and plan execution, operations supervision, contractor budget management and regulatory compliance administration, ensuring environmental and project obligations are adhered to.• Led the Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) team to global award success, winning Bechtel ESH Project of the Year Award (2015) for environmental project management excellence at Wheatstone.• Reengineered permanent waste area, overturning an untenable project cost to deliver savings of $500K+. Consulted with contractors to establish long-term requirements and redesign a compact, efficient layout based on construction and dangerous goods product quantity and compatibility.• Devised cost-effective waste disposal strategy solving logistical and budgetary issues. Performed extensive costs analysis of disposal v.s. reuse options, resulting in 20K+ tons of excess de-mobilization concrete waste reused in on-site retaining walls and road base, and local infrastructure programs.• Developed and executed project regulatory compliance audit, in a coordinated joint effort between Perth corporate and on-site permitting teams. Achieved compliance against all environmental conditions and no Notices of Violations for environmental incidents.• Maintained superior environmental performance through development and implementation of regulatory frameworks (compliance registers and risk matrix), and review of environmental plans, procedures and audits. Monitored adherence to schedule and identified any environmental impact.

Caval Ridge Project, Qld

BHP Caval Ridge Coal Mine was a $3.5B dollar construction project and the largest greenfield coal-mining complex in Australia. Accountable for execution of project environmental compliance.• Evaluated environmental performance of all project construction tenders and developed recommendations for successful bidders.• Prepared contractor Environmental Management Plans and field procedures.• Created service requisition for site Fauna Spotter Catchers and managed contract tender process. Managed the relocation of approx. 10,000 animals during the clearing of 1500Ha+ of vegetation.• Communicated with indigenous cultural heritage representatives to ensure the protection of cultural heritage sensitive areas and artefacts. • Performed environmental assessments and issued permits to disturb during vegetation clearing process.
