Dr. Eduardo Agosin is Professor of Biotechnology at the College of Engineering, Catholic University of Chile, Santiago, CHILE. He got his Ph.D. in 1985 at the Center of Agroindustrial Biotechnology, Institut National Agronomique, in Paris, France. His research interests are related with the areas of systems metabolic engineering, cuantitative microbial physiology and process biotechnology. He has been a visiting professor at Institute for Research and Development, IRD, France (1997), MIT (1998) and Center for Microbial Biotechnology, Technical University of Denmark (2005). He has published more than 80 papers in ISI journals and 20 book chapters. He has graduated 10 Ph.D. students and 22 Master of Engineering Sciences.
