As IT Field Service Engineer Team leader my duties are to develop in accordance to clients needs projects of RIS (Radiology Information System), PACS (Picture Archiving and Control System) and images distribution, implementation and installation of those projects, and give maintenance to the workstations and servers. Also to develop VPN (Virtual Private Network) to communicate different clinics or hospitals for images distribution. During the maintenances I have to check and debug SQL and Oracle databases, change hard drives, install workstations from scratch, configure VPN, configure new machines to send images to PACS, configure RIS clients.My principal duties as an Imaging Field Service Engineer was to install and give maintenance to AGFA machinery such as digitizers (machine where converts the image that was taken in the X ray machine in to a digital image), digitizers workstaions (computer where the X ray digitized image is manipulated and send it to archive or to print), dicom printers (machine where all modalities such as Digitizers, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance print their radiographic plates).
