I'm a versatile bilingual journalist who has reported from more than a dozen countries. While working as a Reuters correspondent in Latin America for eight years, I learned to write with precision and clarity under tight deadlines. In 2016, I earned a master’s degree in science, medicine and environmental reporting at Columbia Journalism School. In recent years, I've published stories in The Daily Mail, The New York Times, The Guardian, Scientific American, Treehugger, Reuters and Slate. My first book, "Things You Can Do: How to Fight Climate Change and Reduce Waste" was published by Penguin Random House in April 2022.
