I am the founder of The Coven Talent, a marketplace of highly creative and self-starting XR engineers and artists ready to lead the most innovative and impactful projects in XR.I believe in the power of XR to elicit emotional reactions that can change minds. In my 20+ year software engineering career, I've had the fortune of serving organizations such as Meta, Lucasfilm and Brown University as well as dozens of startups. As a research engineer at Industrial Light and Magic I helped develop the facial animation system behind Davy Jones' expressive tentacles in Pirates of the Caribbean. As a VR engineer at Brown University, I helped researchers understand how bats fly via novel VR aerodynamics visualizations. As an mobile entrepreneur, I launched one of the first AR apps in the Apple App store to visualize furniture in your own space. Having developed dozens of iPhone apps in Obj.C and Swift, I've gotten pretty good at UX design and front-end software development in general. Besides getting my hands "dirty" in code, I have ran my own business for 12 years, assembled and led development teams, crafted enterprise deals, managed client relationships, worked with governments and dreamed about a better world.
