Leading and Metallurgy Manufacturing: Leading Casting Sessions in the foundry working on the manufacturing of aluminum and copper alloys. I also was addressed to maintain equipment and manufacturing copper picks and shovels for graduate students.· Leading: Mentoring and guiding students to get their projects done using diverse tools such as SEM microscopes.· Safety: Use and maintain lab equipment such as saws, polishing wheels, OES, fume hood, among others.· Safety: Storing chemicals in a proper way and conducting safety good practices.· Polymer Science: Testing procedures: Working in the Polymer Extrusion Lab to create samples for Materials Characterization techniques (DMA, Tensile Samples)· Polymer Science: PCL and TPU blends created in an extrusion machine.Summer 2022 – AFRL Stream Mentor· I worked in partnership with the AFRL and New Mexico Tech and during this summer internship I was in charge to lead a project related with STEM field with students from high schools that are part of unrepresented communities. I was entrusted to inspire students in order for them to enroll to an engineering degree.· Lead activities during the summer and provide mentorship for the students to get the project done.· Problem Solving: Solving last minute issues such as casting problems, design faults.· Leading casting sessions and overseeing that Foundry safety procedures are met properly.

I worked with a Fortune 100 company and the World’s Most Admired Company working on quality of products. This work included interfacing with all aspect of the product from suppliers through internal manufacturing operations and design through project management assuring quality was at specifications or above. When quality issues were recognized that affected product integrity, I worked to help resolve them with other departments such as R&D, customs among others.· Prevent back order for Energy products.· Quality: Leading and execution of different GR&R and reworking processes.· Regulatory: Following strict protocols regulated by FDA.· Safety: Conducting activities according to safety procedures.

2019 – I worked for a Fortune 500 company where I oversee the supplier manufacturing process and was the link between supplier on site manufacturing process. I also worked to handle design issues that affected the process and the supplier molds that underwent repairs or changes. Assuring the quality of the process to be at specification or above and successfully lead over 20 projects per year.· Project Management: In charge of supplier raw materials projects involving plastic and metal molding, by following FDA Regulations.· Leading and execution of Performance Qualification Protocols (PQ) for component validations (plastic and Metal).· No conformances down to only 2 no conformances related to component issues, plastic molding, metal casting.· Execution of GR&R based on previous studies requiring GD&T and Minitab, drawing tolerances and drawing interpretations.· PFMA, DFMA, First Article and Capability studies analysis for validations procedures and troubleshooting.· 2017/2018 – Component Engineer for Urgent projects from suppliers with the following achievements:· No downtime line in 2017 for lack of components due to tool down.· No backorders in 2018 for lack of components due to tool down.· Peer to Peer excellence award in 2018.· Promoted to new position in years: 2016, 2017 and 2019.· Involved in the execution of Software validations (SV) and Installation Qualification (IQ) for new product release.· Trained in Six Sigma green belt (DMAIC) methodology, 5S’s, Kaizen and production oriented methodologies.
