I am the Engineering leader for the Marketplace and Assisted Sales product verticals inside the VTEX product team.The Marketplace vertical aims to maximize our clients' presence across marketplaces. We develop solutions that allow VTEX platform merchants to manage their entire marketplace experience.The Assisted Sales vertical is dedicated to enhancing customer interactions across various sales channels. We develop solutions that empower VTEX platform merchants to optimize in-store and remote sales experiences, fostering customer satisfaction through innovative sales solutions.

As the engineering leader for the Marketplace product vertical, I lead the engineering teams whose mission is to maximize our clients' presence across marketplaces. We develop solutions that allow VTEX platform merchants to manage their entire marketplace experience, including VTEX marketplaces (marketplace in) and external marketplaces (marketplace out, previously the Connections team).

As the engineering manager for the Connections team, I led the engineering teams whose mission is to develop solutions that enable VTEX platform merchants to advertise and sell their products through external marketplaces.

I served as the head of the development teams in the Corporate Applications sector, where I was responsible for the institutional website, billing system, extranet for brokers and partners, and integration systems.My responsibilities included defining the teams' strategy and vision, planning headcount, and building the team's roadmap, collaboratively with the product, commercial, marketing, people, and financial teams.Through the development and leadership of my teams, I was able to expand the sector from two teams of fewer than 10 engineers to an arrangement of five teams, with a total of up to 30 engineers, supporting the growth and evolution of the organization.

I led development teams of software products and projects, collaborating with customers and teams at all stages of the software development lifecycle, from conception to the system's operation in the production environment.During the years, I actively participated in driving all organizational transformations within the company, having a key role in adopting agile development methodologies, lean development practices, and more.
