Eric Moore founded Educate California in 1998 to help parents and families avoid the confusion he endured while researching programs and resources for his children’s education. A former financial advisor, Moore has transferred his skills in counseling families on their finances to helping them prepare their children for college, careers and life after high school.To date, Moore and Educate California have empowered more than 10,000 families with educational resources and materials through workshops and trainings. Our LifePrep Academy: College, Career and Life Planning curriculum has been used by thousands of counselors and millions of students since 1974 and was adapted from the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE)'s "Life After High School" guide. The curriculum features essential college and career prep information for 8th through 12th grade students and their families.
