District and school level leader experienced in supporting educational systems in diverse communities at both the secondary and elementary level. Focused on creating safe and welcoming environments for students that center on their story, strength, and need through Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Leading and collaborating with staff in developing systems that include restorative practices and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS).My work focuses on developing sustainable systems that support student social emotional and academic learning. I have implemented MTSS at multiple school levels to reduce student discipline and increase student academic achievement. These systems focus on developing collaborative protocols and teams that develop responsive and inclusive instruction for all students. Examples of my work includes:● Providing professional development about MTSS systems including collaboration protocols for Professional Learning Communities (PLC), coaching school leaders, and developing resources.● Collaborated with community partners to lead district wide professional development about implementing Restorative Justice in schools.● Implemented MTSS that monitor student progress using multiple data points in literacy and math. Increased staff fluency in utilizing multiple assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Facilitated data inquiry cycles responsive to student needs that increased student achievement.●
