Executive Writing Skills: A Key Ingredient of SuccessWriting well in English is a challenge, especially for the many business professionals for whom it is not their “first language.” To become a senior manager inspiring your team by communicating a strategic vision, you MUST take command of the language. What I do is this: I drill all the way down to verb tenses, the use of prepositions, sentence structure, persuasive tone, and calibrated vocabulary. With that done, I teach how to systematically refine sentence writing, paragraph construction, and paper completion. I now offer this in the form of “brown bag” lunchtime workshops. I come armed with a workbook (whose excerpts I can share online) which offers immediate reinforcement of the skills learned.
