European yacht broker and company director with over 15 years experience, specialising in high quality, luxury, sailing catamarans designed for liveaboard blue-water cruising.UK representative for RAI Amsterdam, working on METSTRADE.Previous experiences include work for Bleep.com (part of Warp Records Ltd) as sole Content Manager for the site. General duties included encoding, preparing and uploading the content for retail purchase, as well as liaising with and organising delivery of content from external aggregators of extra digital music content. At the time, Bleep housed content for around 500 record labels. My responsibilities were to liaise directly with the labels in order to keep the content up-to-date and continually growing, whilst making sure we obtain the required meta data, artwork and audio that is necessary for each product. The work for Bleep required very strong management skills and a very sound knowledge of computer information technology covering hardware and software issues encountered on a daily basis.Following this I was one of the lead members of a team responsible for developing a new business within the music industry, again selling music downloads in digital formats. Involved right from inception in order to brain-storm and create a unique selling point for start-up based in central London. Day-to-day duties included all aspects of accounting, content, label management and customer support. Responsible for acquiring music licenses and organising delivery of content in to the service, which included securing an agreement with the worlds largest record label, the Universal Music Group, to sell their content.Content acquisition and negotiation, management of business operations, label liaison, customer support, IT infrastructure, business development.
