An enthusiastic library professional with over 25 years server libraries. Specializing in teaching library staff and patrons in the use of ever expanding library technology. I have spent over 25 years serving libraries: public, academic, and special, technical and non-technical. I started my career within the Lubbock Public library circulation department and transitioned to serve as their SirsiDynix Unicorn (Symphony) systems administrator and Information Technology Manager, a position I held for 10 years. I then moved to the Texas Tech University Libraries to supervise the staff IT Support desk. I then served as the Lead Educator for ByWater Solutions for almost 5 years. After leaving ByWater Solutions, I served as the Digital Projects Manager at the HMRC a division of the Houston Public Library, before joining the McKinney Public Library as Librarian Supervisor at the John and Judy Gay Library. Having worked in a variety of positions ranging from circulation, reference, systems administration, training staff, as well as IT support, I have experience with many, if not all aspects of the library world. This experience allows me to see issues from a variety of viewpoints. Working within the retail world has given be a unique perspective on libraries as well as allowing me to hone my sales skills.
