Develop and manage online systems and portals including digital asset management systems, integrated library systems, and storage systems. Work with IT staff to maintain and upgrade software. Plan for equipment purchases and upgrades as projects grow and age. Work with existing and new library staff to accomplish digitization goals. Train and supervise staff and volunteers as needed. Work with digitization team members in Digital Strategies and Special Collections units to plan and execute digital projects.Schedule, coordinate, and prioritize the work involved in completing digital and ILS projects. Served as a customer service representative within the circulation department of the main library and one branch.Teaching and Training Experience:Texas Tech Lifelong Learners Program 2003 - 2007Taught several, four week long classes on how to use a computer to assist with genealogical research. The class emphasized the use of online tools for genealogical research as well as available software to assist in the organization of research.
