Oversee all Inventory movements from Purchasing through Warehousing to Shipping. I am responsible for not only the purchasing price negotiations and contracts, but also the inventory optimization in the warehouse. I engage with all functions of the company to make the best decisions to support the growth of our company.My goal is to reduce shipping errors by $30k per month while instilling proper procedures and inventory planning. In the past 2 years I have exceed the cost savings goal of 2% of our annual spend ($14M). I have also participated in In-Lining Lean kaizens which have accumulated over $145K in savings.

I manage the facilities Purchasing processes in efforts to find cost savings projects and manage inventory levels for production. 2016 Forecasted savings is to exceed $350K which represents 2.5% annual spend. In 2016, I have also launched the cycle count program in order to maintain correct inventory levels and petition to be exempt from annual physical inventory. I am taking on Quality responsibilities and will be analyzing internal and external defects and creating a process that is focused around cost savings potentials and customer satisfaction.

We have saved an estimated $75K in 2013 by reducing air freight expenses and utilizing more ocean freight due to a purchasing process I have developed with the buying team. I was part of a team that replicated a growth product line we have in US and Europe and implemented it successfully in our China facility. I led the Supply Chain and Materials Setup for this project with strategic goals around cost savings, supply base reduction and integration, and optimizing Inventory control. In addition, we closed a facility in Malaysia which belonged to a sister company and successfully placed those product lines in both Europe and China facilities with little disruption to our customers. I managed the implementation of the suppliers into our current supply chain working to reduce Lead Times and consolidate number of suppliers due to acquisition.

I worked in Brno, Czech Republic with the purchasing team to gain a better understanding of European business and sourcing strategies. I worked with numerous suppliers across Europe to not only benefit the Brno facility, but to expand our operations globally (mainly Asia) for opportunities with cost savings and localization of supply base. We had cost savings project over $500K for this site alone to contribute to our Global Sourcing team’s objectives. I was able to immerse myself in European business relations and was able to implement Kanban processes as well as daily management to focus on purchasing and materials replenishment.

I created effective production plans to meet On Time Deliveries to customers through proper allocation of materials.
