I have always been passionate about Finance, Investments & Technology since my early days in the University of Ghana Business School. This led to me investing for the very first time in companies listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange as well as starting my first tech startup while pursuing my undergraduate studies. Both experiences (early investor & startup founder) have shaped me today and I remain an investor and a firm believer in tech startups. Wrapping it all up, I am passionate and committed to using investment and technology to disrupt products & business as well transforming the lives of people in Africa. Current Work: I am the Co-Founder & CEO of Bethniel Financial Technology, a startup that builds financial services applications, tools & infrastructure, and provides financial technology consulting services for the African market. I am also the Managing Associate at Ghana Tech Lab. Professional & Educational Background: I am a chartered acountant and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK). I hold an MBA from the University of Ghana Business School and I have also received Executive Training/Education across Strategy, Enterprise-Wide Transformation, International Business, Leadership & Change Management from the Sloan School of Management (MIT), Yale School of Management and Fox School of Business (Temple University). Past Work Experiences: Prior to my current work, I worked primarily as a management consultant, project manager, & an accountant. Across these roles, I have serviced clients and partners including Mastercard Foundation, World Bank, German Development Corporation (GIZ) amongst others. Volunteering & Interests Outside Work: Outside my primary work, I enjoy teaching and volunteering especially if it has to do with financial literacy, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
