Developed a multithreaded application in Java using OSGi framework to provide controls to the Boost EVSE level-3 fast charger from proof of concept to full production use in the field. Worked with various low level devices using CAN bus and Modbus protocols. Implemented OCPP 1.6J which required development of dozens of REST APIs. Created an installer in Python for in-house manufacturing to use which loaded and configured the Boost software. Used Splunk to log individual units’ usage and operational data.
