As a school resource officer at Hannibal Central School District, I work with the school administration, staff, students, and parents to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment. I apply my analytical skills and experience as a retired police detective and officer to prevent and respond to any incidents or emergencies that may occur on school grounds or during school activities. I am also pursuing a degree in Communications and rhetorical studies at Syracuse University, where I learn about the theory and practice of public speaking and promoting ideas in small and large group settings. I am motivated by my interest in enhancing my skills and knowledge in this field, and by my goal of contributing to the well-being and harmony of my community.
