I joined Ask4 as a temporary Field Engineer, initially working at sites across the UK. In late 2019 my planned relocation to Chamonix, France and Ask4’s growth into Europe came together. I worked as a Field Engineer at a vast array of new and existing Ask4 sites across Europe. My work involved carrying out surveys, installations and repairs.I met with clients and contractors involved early in the process to establish that all areas of the install exceeded their expectations. This early project engagement ensured that by the time residents moved in, the internet was impeccable. I worked closely with the Project Management Office and Project Engineering to guarantee we met the high quality and technical standards of the company.

My role involved two main areas, one assisting the core Film Production team with storyboard support, assembling previz’s, feature film cut down’s and 3d stereoscopic assistance. I also help the Film Distribution team with digital DCP film delivery, bespoke encryption, research, coordinating trade shows, administration and tech support. I deal with a variety of clients and suppliers on a daily basis often to very tight timescales.
