• Admitted into Middle District of FL, FLMD Bankruptcy Court, as well as Hillsborough and Pinellas County courts.• Runs firm’s Spanish consumer protection and bankruptcy department, interfaces directly with English and Spanish-speaking debtors from inception to discharge/settlement.• Typical caseload includes large volume of English and Spanish civil defense litigation at state level, including FCCPA/FDCPA-based consumer claims, credit card defense, and foreclosure defense. Works on both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Cases with supervision of managing attorney. Limited experience on small number of Plaintiff Personal Injury cases.• Draft and personally file variety of different pleadings and motions on a regular basis: FCCPA/FDCPA complaints, answers in credit card and foreclosure defense cases, motions to dismiss, to avoid liens, to redeem, to value, and motions for summary judgment. Experience with drafting and sending demand letters in PI cases.• Successfully argued at in-person and remote hearings in Bankruptcy Court and Hillsborough/Pinellas Courts. Has negotiated favorable FCCPA settlements for clients.

*Schedule clients for hearings before bankruptcy court judges, gathering the necessary documents before reaching a final 341 Meeting. *Familiarity with State, CM/ECF and PACER filing portals, for both bankruptcy and civil cases. Assist solo-practitioner with drafting of pleadings such as complaints, orders, responses, and petitions for bankruptcy, consumer protection, and civil litigation law cases.
