I was responsible for analysing, creating and coordinating information within the Department and with external stakeholders such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) staff and central agencies to facilitate client and funding transition to the NDIS.Key achievements include:- Led a team to analyse client and funding information and track the progress for NDIS implementation in NSW. - Created a data model, merging client, funding and contractual information from multiple systems to inform statewide NDIS rollout negotiation and implementation. The dataset contains over 50 million data points and contains over 90,000 client records. - Managed and coordinated information flow for the NDIS trial in Hunter. A bit about the NDIS:The NDIS is one of the biggest social reform in the Australian history. In NSW alone, more than 100,000 people will benefit from the scheme and the annual expenditure is forecasted to be over $6 billion in 2018/19.

As part of the senior executive team, I managed corporate and finance matters for Cha Ching Money Pty. Ltd, as well as drafted and managed the business case for Cha Ching Money. The company later then changed its name to MoneyBrilliant. MoneyBrilliant was later acquired by AMP.

I continued my work to track saving opportunities across government agencies, and had a short period of time working in a financial management role. Key achievements include:- Working with Boston Consulting Group, implemented a whole-of-government budget tracking system to track over $8 billion in savings across the Health, Education, Justice and Family and Community Services (FaCS) portfolios.- Monitored the budget for FaCS, with a particular focus on Ageing, Disability and Aged Care (ADHC) portfolio with an annual expenditure of $3 billion.- Participated in working groups to steer critical projects and reform in FaCS, including Stronger Together 2, National Partnership Agreements and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

I was in the Expenditure Review Directorate, looking at cost reduction opportunities across the NSW Government sector. During this time I initiated and managed the whole-of-government fleet review and NGO funding review, identifying over $750m in savings.

During my tenure I advised the Director General on financial, economic and operational matters relating to toll roads, including corporate affairs for the then Queensland Motorways Limited. My key achievements include:- Produced monthly, quarterly and annual project updates on the Gateway Bridge Duplication and Free Flow Tolling projects- Coordinated the departmental response for the Henry Tax Review- Finalised land leases for the Go Between Bridge and CLEM7 tunnel - Drafted relevant section on tolling for the Connecting SEQ2031 : An Integrated Regional Transport Plan for South East Queensland

I was responsible for driving Government Owned Corporations (GOCs) performance and advising on relating governance matters. My key achievements include:- Assessed infrastructure business cases with a combined value of over $2 billion, including the $1 billion rural spillway upgrade program.- Completed a cost impact analysis due to price determinations for SunWater.- Created a financial model to generate quarterly and annual reports on Government Owned Corporations financial performance.- Advised on a series of corporate matters such as board structure, executive pay and annual KPI setting.
