Pursuing an MSc in Business Analytics at Alliance Manchester Business School, my studies emphasise advanced analytical techniques and their application in business decision-making. I have developed proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, alongside a solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, optimisation, and statistical analysis. Through various projects, I have effectively applied these skills—developing sophisticated sales forecasting models using machine learning techniques, conducting time series analysis, and optimising community project selections through integer and dynamic programming. Additionally, I have explored deep learning methodologies to perform accurate sales predictions and enhance data-driven decision-making.My dissertation focuses on the development of a novel Graph Neural Network (GNN) model for credit card fraud detection. This work involves utilising the k-nearest neighbours algorithm to construct graph inputs from tabular data and incorporating a genetic algorithm to optimise the parameters of both the graph structure and the GNN architecture, achieving a high F1-score in classifying fraudulent transactions.Complementing my academic pursuits, I bring extensive experience from the finance industry. I have worked as a Senior Finance Specialist at Crown Bioscience, where I was responsible for financial planning, developing comprehensive financial models, and supporting strategic decision-making through competitive financial analysis. Additionally, as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Republic of China (ROC), I spent three years at Deloitte, leading audit teams across diverse industries, conducting risk assessments, and utilising data analytics to enhance audit strategies and internal controls.In summary, my unique combination of advanced data analytics expertise and robust finance experience equips me to tackle complex business challenges with a data-driven approach.
