About Edward Cope

Since 2006, I've been immersed in the task of educating adjudicated youth using Positive Youth Development techniques rather than punitive measures.I've spent the last thirty years teaching teens in public, private, and charter schools, receiving a Masters in Education and then a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. As a teacher, team leader, instructional coach, vice principal, and tor the past eight years as a principal, I've been privileged to lead a premier facility for youth corrections. I wrote my doctoral dissertation on Positive Youth Development and delivered a TEDx talk on the subject in 2012.
