 Provide departmental guidance to improve overall efficiency and knowledge Ensure all staff is cross trained to provide full coverage at all times Conduct annual reviews and set goals for department for the upcoming year “Subject Matter Expert” for the implementation of Oracle “Enterprise Resource Planning” software Collaboration with the finance team to resolve purchase price variances Coordinate with Value Stream Managers to resolve any issues with work in process transactions Approve and review cycle counts Oversee shipping and receiving departments Liaise with finance on physical inventory activities as required  Ensure continuous improvement to ease tasks in the departments

Perform planning analysis for multi sourcing scenarios and provide recommendations based on: projected ramp-up/ramp-down of factories and vendors, inventory exposure, and customer on time delivery. Daily risk analysis and planning to optimize customer orders, inventory turns, warehouse space, freight costs. Purchase planning role - Create purchase orders for product and/or services for both foreign and domestic vendors. Monitor and expedite shipments from various global locations. Coordinate with Value Stream Managers and customer service to exceed customer expectations

Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates. Assists with maintaining inventory of shipping and receiving departments' materials and supplies. Train new employees and delegate duties. Insured quality and production completion.
