I am passionate about producing elegant and creative solutions to a multitude of problems. Whether that be a designed product, a tool for increasing efficiency, or a different business strategy, I bring my enthusiasm and vision to get a result.I am always looking to learn new skills and develop my knowledge and I am willing to have a go at anything.I hold a 1st class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lancaster University (2021), where I honed my fundamental skills and completed several key projects, preparing me for a successful career in engineering.In my role as Design Engineering Manager at Atkinson Vos I oversee all our design projects, from small sheet metal parts to full expedition vehicle builds. My implementation of a number of tools and processes has greatly increased the team’s efficiency and has improved the margin we see on projects.Outside of work I am either found in the workshop making or tinkering with something or in the Lake District enjoying walking, cycling or kayaking. I don’t feel you can go too far wrong with that!I’m always keen to connect with other engineers, it’s great to see what others are up to.
