Pharmacy staffing, verify medication orders via CPOE system workflow, compound and check compounded sterile products, interact with physicians and nurses to clarify medication orders/problems, answer drug information questions and recommend sound pharmacotherapeutic options.

Pharmacy and Therapeutics Practice Lab and Case Studies. Teach professional 4th and 5th year pharmacy students in group and an individual basis to assess professionalism, therapeutic skills, communication, and several proficiencies. Responsible for leading group discussions with students on various therapeutic topics.

Preparing and dispensing compounded sterile products (CSP). Engaged in extensive patient counseling and disease management with home infusion patients. Responsible for determining/monitoring correct antibiotic use corresponding to clinical indication, duration of therapy, implementation of dosage and schedule, and coordinating intravenous catheter removal with registered nurses upon therapy completion.
