Negotiated cost savings of over $3M in Garbage truck parts, and managed contracts in excess of $100M. Liaised between Supply Chain and Fleet Departments regarding parts compliance and warranty. • Uploaded supplier's price files, parts usage, and M5 data into parts database using Oracle/SQL queries• Managed a company-wide Procure to Pay project for all parts ordered from inventory system to People Soft; ensured all sites set their truck parts and body part with correct manufacturer part numbers, and preferred vendors and reorder points for high usage parts to help reduce on-hand inventory, obsolescence and requisitions cost.• Wrote and analyzed parts queries to recommend parts that need to be crossed to company standards • Managed a Fuel Telemetry Project, hosted meetings to monitor project status, created tracking spreadsheets to keep the project on schedule. and approve any change orders.• Rolled out a national fuel supplier program with an estimated saving of $4M per year• Coordinated moving over 200 roll-off trucks and trailers from several states to Gulf Coast for oil spill clean up

Purchased and maintained inventory of Class 8 Trucks and Trailer Parts, Fuel, Oil, and Tires. Worked with Maintenance Managers on repair issues, warranties, campaigns, and DOT compliance. Managed the installation and rolled out of a purchasing/fleet vehicle maintenance program companywide. • Entered truck and trailer specifications, trained employees on how to enter work orders, charge out inventory parts, file warranty claims, and purchase orders. • Worked with local dealers on warranty claims and part failures • Tested new software versions for compatibility; wrote rules of disbursements so all data would transfer to General Ledger (Great Plains) electronically • Developed purchasing procedures for Sarbanes Oxley compliance; processed ad hoc reports for spending and budget as needed to the VP of Operations

Procurement of PC hardware, software, networking equipment, office supplies, and furniture in excess of $10M annually.
