Lead team of 5 Quality Investigators whose primary task is issue resolution from external sources. This includes Warranty, In-Transit defects, Customer Complaints and issues found at sister plants. For each issue received my team is responsible validating the process, establishing the escape point, develop 3 layers of containment, determine root cause and implement corrective action, if needed. Once containment and/or corrective actions are in place, my team audits each for continued compliance. Daily reports to production on previous days DPU and trending defects.Administrator for Defect Tracking software “Inspect”. Duties include, setting up stations for operators to enter defects, maintaining validity of data being entered and develop reports for production.Develop and Maintain automatic hold system, this system would automatically generate a hold for each vehicle and would only clear the holds if all criteria has been satisfied. Purpose is to reduce the ability of trucks leaving the plant with open defects or being completely tested. Organized the structure of the Quality Team to align strengths of individuals with the needs of the department. This resulted in better performance of the team, clearly defined roles and responsibilities and is currently being used as a template for all Quality Teams company wide

Main function is warranty reduction for commercial and military vehicles.Monitor and correct in-transit breakdowns.Develop defected tracking for the plant to monitor defects per unit. Implement gage calibration system and ISO internal audit data base.

Implemented QSWas the Quality supervisor of the Met Lab.Certified incoming raw material, supervised floor and CMM inspectors.
