I graduated high school in 2010 with 2 years of automotive mechanics experience and ASE certifications. I received a position as a boat mechanic in my senior year of high school. Being that job was a seasonal and also wanting to see the world, I signed up to join the Marine Corps in October of 2010. My MOS (job) was a C-130 aircraft mechanic specializing in engine, fuel, propeller and pneumatic systems for 5 years. This job propelled my technical, problem solving, and leaderships skills that have made me an asset to any employer. After the military I found a job making fuel nozzles at Collins Aerospace making fuel nozzles for various aircraft, tanks, and industrial generators for 4 years (mostly Honeywell products). This unfortunately did not challenge me enough so I decided to go to college and pursue a degree in Industrial Technologies from Iowa State University (ISU), in which I am still engaged in pursuing. I have taken on a part time job and internship working with CIRAS in their Digital and ABE Lab spaces metal, plastic, and resin 3D printing prototypes for various businesses across Iowa. I am excited to see additive manufacturing taking off and would love to be involved with a company embracing this technology. My hobbies are DYI home improvements, leatherworking, hunting, fishing, and 3D printing.Experience: 2023 Summer - CIRAS Digital Lab Intern (3D printing/manufacturing, process improvement, prototyping, Engineering).2023 - CIRAS/ISU Agriculture and Biological Systems Engineering (ABE) Lab Assistant (Manufacturing Engineering/Applied Engineering).2022 - present Full-time student at ISU working on my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technologies (Manufacturing Engineering/Applied Engineering).2020 - 2022 Full-time student at DMACC graduated with honors in AS program. 2015 - 2020 UTC/Collins Aerospace Calibrator (manufacturing/testing fuel nozzles for various aircraft).2010 - 2015 USMC 6216 (KC-130 Aircraft Engine Mechanic).2010 Dave's Marine and Sports as a boat mechanic.
