Command of a crew of 180 sailors. Responsible for every aspect of operations, maintenance, and training required to execute the strategic deterrence mission of the USS NEVADA (SSBN 733)(GOLD) in support of USSTRATCOM.

Managed a portfolio for the Global Nuclear Security (GNS) division, with the Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) department to provide technical training and material assistance to nations in order to prevent the possible loss of nuclear materials. Regional focus was Middle East, North Africa and Asia.

Second in command of a US nuclear powered submarine. Responsible for a crew of 160 sailors training, qualification, and proficiency across every aspect of submarine operations (engineering, navigation, operations, tactics, weapons, supply and administration).

Responsible for the administration and training of over 60 Active duty Officers and Enlisted personnel from the Surface and Submarine communities. These personnel Provided Training Support to 6 Submarines, 3 Aircraft Carriers and Tomahawk Handling Facilities World Wide in the areas of Combat Systems, Navigation, Operations and Engineering.

Conducted the planning and supervised the execution of all areas related to the safe navigation of the submarine and the operations it was tasked to conduct. Responsible for the training and qualification of both Officers and Enlisted Submariners in a broad spectrum of skills related to Submarine Navigation, Operations and Maintenance.
