Responsibilities Include the worldwide negotiation and drafting of industrial and commercial contracts for SUEZ Treatment Solutions Inc. (including design & build, design build & operate, public, private partnerships, construction, design and engineering, master service agreements etc.) and worldwide disputes/claims management for all SUEZ Treatment Solutions post execution issues (including change orders, design defects, breach of contract issues, arbitration, mediation, close project management support, etc.)

Practice areas include construction law, commercial litigation, dispute resolution, internal investigations, corporate governance, and general corporate transactions.

Manage day-to-day legal operations for corporation specializing in heavy construction, railroads and the engineering of high-voltage transmission and electrical distribution systems.Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, union agreements, subcontracts and other legal documents relating to engineering and construction services, including design/build contracts, design and construction contracts, confidentiality, licensing, procurement, sales, leasing, real estate, non- disclosure, software, and insurance contracts. Advise on Dispute Resolution and Litigation Strategies.Oversee matters involving claims for extra work, project delay, disruption of work, lost efficiency; defective workmanship and materials; terminations for default; letters of credit; non-payment and payment remedies, including mechanic's liens, stop notices, payment bonds, and lien priority disputes; project financing; labor and material shortages; bid protests; government contracts; allegations of false claims; environmental remediation and hazardous material abatement.

Engaged in all aspects of litigation practice, including developing defense strategies, depositions, court appearances, legal research, discovery and document management. Conducted highly sensitive internal corporate investigations in response to regulatory examinations by SEC, FINRA, state regulators and other government agenciesInspected, supervised and oversaw production of client materials to various courts and regulatory agencies including SEC, FINRA, FERC, and the CFTCRepresented a large public airline company in connection with the U.S. Department of Justice investigation into alleged price-fixing in air cargo surcharges.Represented former hedge fund manager in connection with regulatory enforcement litigation against the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.Represented a commodity futures trading firm in connection with litigation against several clearinghouses and futures and options merchants relating to over US $100M of disputed trades on the Inter-Continental Exchange
