• Managing security using IBM Cognos administrator to assign permissions to users. Tasks included maintaining user lists over live, test and development environments and using Motio to make bulk changes to the security model, for example cloning user profiles.• Currently involved in a project to provide analytical reports to the Facilities and Travel teams. Collating external and internal data sources in a variety of different formats using Spotfire to analyse the information. Consulting stakeholders on the results of initial analysis and changing the final report to meet their requirements. • Contributed to the creation of a new intranet site for the Business Intelligence team. Tasks included: proof reading text, importing site content though SharePoint and the training of colleagues in the use of SharePoint including its HTML functionality, so that they can maintain the site going forwards.• Worked on an executive dashboard hosting financial, HR and time writing data on the company’s intranet. Tasks included troubleshooting and maintenance of the URLs in development and live environments. • Liaised with users to find a convenient time to carry out installations for various Business Intelligence applications including Spotfire and IBM Cognos using LANDesk.
