About Edward Heard

Self motivated, hard working and highly adaptable to changing and challenging environments. I am an experienced business leader with 25+ years accumulated learning across a diverse range of roles in software development, implementation support, third-party product integration, Project Management and team leading.For the last 17+ years I have worked in the UK Payment services sector at various Fintech’s (large and small) in a number of delivery orientated positions. In each of these the focus has been on developing or integrating varied and unique payment capture models - card payment solutions, bank transfer models and a variety of emerging Alternative Payment methods. I have always strived to learn new skills and embrace new experiences. Starting as a Software Developer I eventually moved into team leadership and Project Management. Ultimately this has led to larger leadership roles including that of Delivery Director for a large new breed fintech and most recently as a Product Manager for an organisation offering Foreign Exchange services to NGO’s, major banks and financial institutions requiring exotic currency payments to non-traditional geographies.
