My responsibilities included:• Design & develop the machine, mechanical jigs and part holding fixtures• Manage project from concept stage, design development, authority submissions and site administration to project completion• Execute of mechanical design concept according to customer requirement• Review and confirm technical specification with customer• Develop details of fabrication/assembly/layout drawings, specification and manual for the machine• Coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer’s specifications• Ensure project on schedule and resolve design issues in a timely manner• Participate actively in assembly, installation, operation and troubleshooting of the machine• Engineering Change Order (ECO) for changes in components, assemblies and documents• Carry out testing / commissioning on machines before the final set up• Support service team at customer’s site in machine maintenance & training• Maintain and perform proper documentation controls for Engineering DepartmentAchievements:• Business trip to Thailand for machine commissioning & provide training at customer’s site• Participated and involved more than 10 machines design & development

My responsibilities included:• Lead in sourcing and procuring materials, parts, components and assemblies to provide the company with a competitive edge through lower materials cost, quality products, shorter manufacturing cycle-time and timely delivery to customers• Support new product transfer program by acting as focus person to coordinate procurement activities until the first production run• Provide technical sourcing support to R&D to meet the target and/or new suppliers/commodities for development• Drives the release of materials in a timely manner with project core team / R&D to meet production build dates• Lead and drive sourcing activities to achieve cost savings target investigates new or alternate sources of supply to support new product development, cost reduction requirements and / or supplier performance issues• Conduct supplier survey and assessment yearly
