Progressing from an hourly associate through senior management positions in retail operations helped me learn the importance of servant leadership. A focus on care for people, doing the right thing, and developing commercial acumen, helped me build organizational capability and inspire teams towards a common goal.The deep operational and P&L responsibility retail leadership provided opened doors to broad and diverse experiences across the full Upstream and Downstream value chain of the energy industry including strategy, planning, business development, project management, M&A, and then full circle back to the end consumer through franchisor roles leading senior executive teams. Along the way I benefited from working with different cultures through international exposures, engaging with boards and investors, and speaking at large conferences and events.
