I am a graduate of the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours. My honours project involved simulating the construction of a tunnel underneath Davey street to explore the impacts on surface structures in Hobart. After finishing high school I had a gap year where I worked at my old school (Scotch Oakburn College) as a teachers aid, predominately in kindergarten and the first-grade classrooms. I also love playing sports, at school I played soccer and rowed. I still enjoy a social kick of soccer, and my involvement with rowing continued after school, as I took on the role of coach for several crews between 2016-2018. I have been playing rugby for the University of Tasmania Rugby Union Club since 2018 and during this time helped coach the State U14 Girls Rugby Union Team in 2023.Whilst studying in my third year at University I received an industrial scholarship from Shaw Contracting, where I then completed a summer internship and worked a for a couple of weeks in the mid-year break.
