I'm currently working as a Systems Engineer supporting MBSE efforts at Leidos in Tewksbury, MA.My day-to-day reality is working as a systems engineer / project manager / architect, with a deep understanding of computational architectures, systems architectures, software design and implementation, and helping the functional organization meet the customer's requirements. I also work with a team of great folks keeping our systems running as smoothly as possible.In 2014, I was asked to help kick off the microscopy startup Vidrio Technologies, which was the first tech spin-off from HHMI's Janelia Research Campus. There, I built the physical hardware and designed software for in-vivo two-photon calcium imaging microscopy (basically, high-speed data acquisition and high-speed device control and synchronization), as well as learned quite a bit about scanning two-photon fluorescence microscopy, femtosecond pulse lasers, optogenetics, and neuroscience in general. I find it interesting to support research in Brain Science. The level of interdisciplinary work and collaboration is something I haven't seen in any other field (yet!)Prior to this, I had a ten year career at Lockheed Martin in all aspects of program planning, execution, and management. After four years of coding, testing, and integrating a significant part of the C4ISR systems of the ROC Joint Forces Command, Eastern European NATO Countries, and the NTTR, I worked in Strategic Planning for Lockheed-Martin, where I managed a database system that formed the backbone of our quantitative analysis group.I then acted as Deputy Program Manager for the Symphony Counter-IED program under NAVSEA PMS-408 c80. My exposure to RF systems there coupled with a desire to continue my technical contributions led me to spend three years performing algorithm design, optimization, fine-grained multi-threaded parallelization, and coarse-grained domain decomposition of Method of Moments and Finite Element CEM code.My engineering interests are mostly in theoretical computer science, RF and electrical engineering, simulation, analytics, and electro-mechanical design.Specialties: Program Management, High Performance Computing, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering
