  - Minimized prior existing codebase by 30%, removing redundant/unused code (5000+ lines) due to legacy nature of the codebase.- Overhauled the client side using Redux Toolkit and Tailwind CSS for increased code modularity, allowing for easier and faster changes in the future.- Transitioned the application’s back-end logic responsible for images/container manipulation from use of child processes and asynchronous Javascript (Docker CLI) to the Docker API for more security and less resource expense on local machines. - Redesigned retrieval of application metrics via incorporating Prometheus/Grafana. Configured cAdvisor to gather container metrics via mounting of Unix sockets, and Node Exporter to gather data regarding the host machine (CPU usage, memory usage, etc). - Improved control over Docker containers/images/volumes achieved by implementing granular settings that allow for forceful starting/stopping, composition of up/down commands, and easier detection/more effective management of invalid Docker commands. - Migrated the monolithic architecture to microservices allowing for greater ease of use and near-zero configurations, enabling long-term scalability. - Product developed under tech-accelerator OS Labs (opensourcelabs.io).
