Educational Technician
CurrentProvides technical support, assistance, andcustomer service to school administration, staff,and students.Troubleshoots technical and networkproblems with computers, laptops, printersvideo equipment, phones, software, scannersprojectors, document cameras interactivewhiteboards, audio amplifcation, tv tuners,user accounts, and other related equipment onsites.Prepares updates, and maintains technicalinventory database at the site.Provides on-site assistance via requestssubmitted through the helpdesk.Maintains classroom technology, updatessoftware, firmware, cables, and hardware.Back up end-user data, image and performspost-image setup.Receives and/or transfers IT equipmentmoves equipment throughout campus(es) based on district needs and fills out/submits transfer documents as required.Sets up technical equipment for the local,district, or board member level meetingspresentations, and in-services at the site viahelpdesk, requests.Participates in/on a variety of meetingsand /or teams related to technology.Maintains confidentiality of informationaccessed while performing duties.
