My practice includes the most important private children cases with complex cross jurisdictional issues, inflicted non-accidental catastrophic injury on children, and clinical negligence/PI cases involving life-long disability, lack of capacity and birth injury. My expertise in these areas frequently places me in important and complex cases that involve multi-jurisdictional issues that span these specialisms. A taster of my current case load includes: jurisdictional arguments in the Court of Appeal under the Hague Convention; securing a £2.5m interim payment in the Kings Bench Division in a contested clinical negligence action; a £5m+ claim in the Kings Bench Division arising out of an RTA where capacity is being tried as a preliminary issue; running a £20m cerebral palsy case in the King's Bench Division and a test case in the Court of Protection concerning the foreign recognition of protective measures taken overseas.I am listed as a leading silk in all of my specialist areas in the Legal 500 and/or Chambers and Partners: Personal Injury, Family, Clinical Negligence and Court of Protection.
