Vonu Apparel Pte Ltd is a premium supplier of woven and knitwear garments based in sunny Nadi, Fiji.

During my time at the ArtHouse hotel I was trained up from a floor attendant until I was one of the staple Cocktail Bartenders in the entire venue. I was valued for my creativity, good interpersonal skills with customers and high quality of work. In this role I was relied upon to open and close the bar. I was entrusted with the floating the till and managing other staff members. I thoroughly enjoyed working in this environment with other enthusiastic people. I also enjoyed the engagement with customers in a less formal environment. I especially enjoyed my regulars who I was able to tailor their experience and beverages to suit their individual tastes.

Based in the bottom of the Westin Hotel in Whistler Ski Resort I was a sales person in a souvenir shop. I was trusted with balancing tills and handling the cash register. I was also one of the most valued sales people on the floor twice achieving the highest sales in a month, during my short period of time there.

R.M. Williams is mainly known for the high quality boots that it produces. It is a major export and second to none in the global market. At the International Airport I was positioned as the front line of promoting the brand gloablly. Here I was tasked with opening the shop, balancing tills at night and trusted with the keys to the store. Aside from that the position at the international airport meant that I had to pass ASIC security testing to be given clearance to move freely around the airport. I was a valued member until I felt the urge to go travelling overseas.

I was trained as a Junior Stock Trader in this small firm. I was tasked with mostly administrative tasks, such as establishing new client portfolios, creating client lists, customer service and back office settlements. I was increasingly involved in open market trading over my time there, giving investment guidance and analysis when asked. Over my time at Norris Smith I was able to study for my Derivatives license (Level 4) and be trained in market analysis. I was able to utilise the time just after the GFC of 2008, where there was a lot of opportunity for large gains to be made across a typical diversified portfolio.
