Edward is a close protection officer, with FPOSi and paediatric 1st aid and former Corporal in The British Army (Infantry). Now a Sgt in the Reserve’s. He has a keen interest in alpine skiing, rugby, walking and tennis. During his time in The Army he competed for his unit at the Infantry, Brigade and Divisional alpine skiing championships. When the opportunity arises he enjoys travelling and being involved in two Injured Veterans charities.In 1994 he joined The Highlanders (Now 4th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland). During his career of 24 years he deployed on various Operational tours. Including Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Northern Ireland. During his time on his 1st tour of Iraq he led a team of 8 men providing communications and electronic warfare and counter measures for his Company and assets.After leaving The Army Edward has gained his Close Protection qualification with FPOSi and has gone onto further his medical qualifications in MIRA (Medicine in Remote areas) and Paediatric 1st aid. He has also joined the Army Reserves in order to keep his Military qualifications up to date, such as his ski instructor. Edward also spent his 1st summer out of the Army teaching and mentoring teenagers through the NCS program.
