Edward, along with Transwestern’s Sustainability Team, provides assistance and guidance for building owners as they make their way through the various LEED rating systems and ENERGY STAR® benchmarking process.Since joining Transwestern in 2011, Edward has worked on over 10 LEED-EB: O+M projects, including the Milwaukee City Hall Complex, Glen Hills Middle School, and Woodland Primary School. Edward also assisted with the LEED-NC Gold certification of the Wrigley confectionary factory located in Guangzhou, China.Prior to joining Transwestern, Edward was employed at Sure-Fire, Inc, an HVAC firm located in central Wisconsin. Here, Edward learned from and worked with engineers, service technicians, and installers on various HVAC projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Recently, Sure-Fire, Inc. completed the fabrication and installation of the HVAC systems for Eagle Hall, UW-Lacrosse’s new dormitory. Eagle Hall received LEED-NC Silver certification by the US Green Building Council. Edward utilized BIM (Building Information Modeling) software, along with Navisworks, to integrate and analyze the system drawings throughout the design stage.
