While observing my work history comprehensively, you’re likely to notice something interesting: my experiences are really quite eclectic, to say the least. I’ve decided the fate of troublesome trees as a utility arborist; I’ve trudged through rivers and wetlands while trapping reptiles, amphibians, and semi-aquatic mammals; I’ve led large groups of students on stunning tours through Central America; and I’ve become an integral part of the healing process for many while working as a licensed massage therapist. More recently I've begun a career in pest management, working both in the CO Dept. of Agriculture as well as in the rapidly-expanding cannabis cultivation industry. One might wonder why each position I’ve held is so different from the one that preceded it. I can guarantee that it isn’t a symptom of chronic career indecisiveness. Conversely, it is the result of knowing exactly what I want: variety. My foremost career goal is to become a well-rounded and professionally versatile individual. I believe that the most effective way to achieve this goal is to be exposed to as many different opportunities as possible, and I've done just that by inviting a diverse and impressive array of work experiences into my life. My various roles have provided me a great many things, but the most valuable qualities I’ve adopted from them include confident leadership, aptitude in backcountry settings, and proficiency in customer service.
