I have been a police officer with the City of Scranton since March of 1999. In my career I've been assigned to the patrol division as well as a member of the K9 Unit. During my 8 years in the k9 Unit Ive achieved the certificates in both basic and advanced K9 handler. During this tenure Ive also achieved the certificates in K9 trainer. During the last three years of patrol I was tasked with training the newest members of the K9 Unit, deploying them as Street ready K9 teams. With the retirement of my K9 partner Arko, I strived to further my career within the Scranton Police Department. In 2012 I was chosen for the TFO program with the department of Home Land Security. Shortly after obtaining this training I was transferred into the Scranton Police Special Investigations Division. The SID office is responsible for the undercover investigations and arrests of persons actively involved in narcotics sales in Scranton and Lackawanna County. I am also an active member of Scranton's Special Operation Group.
