SBB is the UK’s leading basketball media company, hosting an audience with over 800k followers (@SBB_UK). Initiated with two friends from my university basketball team, our core aim was to showcase UK Basketball on the global stage, through engaging content tailored for a Gen-Z audience.What started as a passion project, as I balanced my role at Nike, quickly evolved into a start-up business. And as a co-founder, I embraced the various roles required in a start-up environment, with key responsibilities including:- Managing digital media partnerships with clients such as the NBA, Nike, Meta, Basketball Champions League, Basketball England, Wilson, Jordan, Euro League & Foot Locker.- Overseeing the launch of SBB Store, selling basketball performance-wear at an accessible price.- Shooting, Producing & Editing both photo & video content.- Managing the company’s finances, with a focus on sustainable growth.

After my Internship, I embraced the challenge of increasing the ELC campus's capacity, to meet the accelerating demand for Nike products. As a Product Owner of the Innovation team, I led a multi-disciplinary team of five, on projects to develop the future of Nike's distribution processes through innovation and automation. My key responsibilities included:- Lead new automation projects at ELC, to significantly enhance our operational efficiency.- Conducted thorough analyses of Nike's existing distribution processes, identifying key opportunity areas for innovation.- Played a crucial role in the procurement of multi-million dollar projects, making key vendor selection decisions.- Regularly engaged with Nike ELC's senior business executives, presenting innovative ideas and solutions to improve our distribution strategy.- Expanded my industry knowledge and fostered partnerships by visiting partner companies' distribution centres and attending trade shows.- Developed and successfully pitched a business case to department directors, initiating an Internship Programme within Distribution aimed at cultivating university talent into the department and creating opportunities for the development of future managers.- Recognised for my contribution to the team, I received the highest grade of 'exceptional' in my annual Coaching for Excellence (CFE) review.This role was a remarkable journey, where I got to exercise my passion for innovation with Nike's never ending pursuit for excellence.

Growing up I dreamt of working at Nike, idolising athletes like Kobe Bryant and captivated by advertising campaigns such as Joga Bonito. I even spent most of my Saturday mornings queueing outside of sneaker stores (in London’s pouring rain) for the latest Nike & Jordan releases. There was only one company I was interested in working for.In my final university year, I was lucky enough to turn this dream into a reality. While completing my full-time studies, I moved to Belgium in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, balancing the internship with my final year exams.I joined the Logistics Centre of excellence team, which was an agile operation tasked with building new capabilities, to tackle some of Nike’s biggest End-to-End supply-chain challenges. My responsibilities included:- RFID technology investigation Investigating RFID technology to build new capabilities that would enhance our Distribution Centres operations and efficiency.- Collaboration with external vendors to test and co-create new capabilities.- Crafting business cases to detail the expected benefits and costs of various projects.

- Contributed as bank staff in the NHS Pharmacy Department during university holidays, managing the intake of pharmaceutical deliveries.- Organised and sorted medications within pharmacy stores, functioning as a compact distribution centre for the hospital, with systematic storage.- Worked throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, prioritising and facilitating the swift delivery of essential and controlled drugs.- Supported critical care areas by delivering urgent medications to high-priority wards, including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and operating theatres.

- Co-founded Prime Sneakers in my final year of high school with a school friend, driven by a shared passion for shoes and the culture surrounding them.- Established a personal shopping service specialized in procuring and delivering sold-out sneakers, targeting a niche market of high-profile clients, including multiple Premier League footballers.- Demonstrated operational efficiency by sourcing and delivering exclusive footwear within 24 hours, catering to VIP clients' urgent needs for events, tours, and away fixtures.- Successfully implemented influencer marketing strategies on social media, amassing an audience of over 3,000 followers.- Utilised social media DM's to sell directly to customers, as well as developing and launching an e-commerce website which also successfully captured online sales.- Ultimately decided to stop the business in favour of attending university in a different area of the country, where we could no longer deliver on our lightning fast service.

- Coached young children aged 4-11 in football and multi-sports sessions, to build their sporting and teamwork skills.- Conducted after-school and school holiday sessions.- Led sessions independently, managing groups of up to 30 children.- Liaised with parents post-session, ensuring the safe handover of children to guardians.

- Delivered newspapers throughout Weybridge.- Committed to a Monday-Saturday schedule before school, starting daily at 6:00 am.- Cycled a route of approximately 20 addresses, each receiving different newspapers.
