After 18+ years in the wireless industry fulfilling various roles in receivables management, fraud analysis, and sales, I decided to make a career change and go into the field of Data Science. After completing all of my coursework for my Master's Degree in Data Science at CUNY Graduated Center, I've just completed my very first Data Science internship at CUNY Institute for State and Local Governance, and gained a great deal of experience in my short time as an intern there. I'm now looking for the opportunity to continue using the skills that I've acquired over the last few years and starting a career as a full-fledged Data Scientist. I'm currently proficient in the use of Python, C++, R, and SQL for various data analysis and predictive modeling tasks, and I have a decent amount of projects under my belt now, so my next step is to transition from the academic setting to the workplace.
