Susannah Sayler and Edward Morris (Sayler/Morris) work with photography, video, writing, and installation to examine our changing notions of nature, culture, and ecology. Their work is often place-based and focused on historical research.Their work has been exhibited broadly in the U.S. and internationally, including at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Belvedere Museum, the Museum of Capitalism and the Southeast Center for Contemporary Art. They have been awarded numerous fellowships including the New York Artist Fellowship, the Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship, the Center for Art and Environment Research Fellowship, and the Loeb Fellowship at Harvard Graduate School of Design. They are currently teaching in the Transmedia Department at Syracuse University. Their archives are collected by the Nevada Museum of Art / Reno, Center for Art and Environment.In 2006, Sayler/Morris co-founded The Canary Project - a studio that produces visual media and artworks that deepen public understanding of climate change and other ecological issues.

Manage collective's business and creative direction, including fundraising, PR, partnerships, website development and bookkeeping. Projects have included A History of the Future (www.history-of-the-future.com); Green Patriot Posters (www.greenpatriotposters.org); and Eve Mosher's HighWaterLine (http://www.highwaterline.org/). While, The Canary Project is no longer an active project, it continues to be the business name for the studio of Sayler/Morris and of Toolshed.

Our initial focus is on designing software for the legal and investigative services markets that allow individuals and teams to: organize information; access just the data they need at any moment; find unexpected connections; and produce a variety of reports instantly. Company recently sold after selling the product to more than 200 law firms.

Lynx is dedicated to finding buried, complex and obscured facts in a world overloaded with opinions, bad leads and diversions.Our clients are attorneys, deal-makers, nonprofits and media channels. Most of our clients have an absolute, and sometimes legally binding, need for confidentiality. With more than twenty years of experience in the investigative business, we appreciate that need and know how to protect it. Other clients would like the information we gather to reach a specific, or at times, very general audience. In this case, we leverage networks, partnerships and our in-house skills to vet, package and distribute the facts we gather. In doing so, we adhere to the same strict ethical code as for our confidential clients.

Shareholder, partner. Managed the Litigation Department of the New York office, including overseeing staff, managing multiple concurrent cases, client relations, hiring, budgets and strategic planning. Headed the product liability practice area and developed the firm’s capabilities in Asia. In 2004, was one of the lead investigators in the impeachment inquiry of Connecticut governor John Rowland, which resulted in Rowland’s resignation, and has managed investigations in a variety of complex litigation matters including a multibillion-dollar antitrust case, defense of toxic tort claims and patent infringement cases. Managed and led investigations for the Mayor's office in New York and Mayors Against Illegal Handguns focusing on the issue of how handguns are distributed, sold and get into the hands of criminals. The undercover purchases in this investigation helped New York City file a lawsuit against 27 gun dealers that resulted in agreements by the majority of the dealers to change their sales practices and be subject to monitorship.
