Initial focus was on screed, identifying demand, avenues and establishing national providers. I replicated this process for all product lines resulting in a full rebrand and relaunch across all sectors. I was promoted to a national role responsible for the P&L, leading a team of 6 sales and technical representatives covering all product lines. Year 1– provided market insights into total screed volume, generated new literature and testing, addressed installer collaboration, secured an additional 1000t of sales. Year 2 – Established screed market with a 300% increase in volume and a 65% increase in margin. Identified risk in manufacture, consolidating product lines. Targeted and supplied large volume infrastructure projects at Battersea Power Station, City island and Cardiff Bypass, 25,000 tonne in total, driving production costs down. Year 3 – A return to 24hr production required a focus on fixed outlet specification. I undertook product and market analysis, identifying target customers. I developed and specified 5 additional fixed outlets requiring 30,000t per annum providing £900k additional revenue. The focus could then be returned to high end specification, securing 22 Bishopsgate and 70 St Mary axe providing an increase of 10,000t/annum of premium material (£1.1mil revenue) Year 4 – Designed production improvements to eliminate vehicle collisions and reduce collection time. Focus on collaboration with internal businesses. Worked on the R&D for use of Lytag in asphalt. Streamlined the customer journey for order placement.
